The staff seemed attentive and efficient, so that was something..
The size of the bathroom was like a joke. The toilet almost touched the sink. I expected more for the money spent.. especially given what was charged .

lovely bar antique collection rare cigars
The elephant bar is lovely. I loved it. the gift shop features an extraordinary collection of buddhist antiques. the cigar store has the best selection in the world. It had rare cigars.
My king landmark room balcony lacked outdoor seating. It was just an empty space.

clean room efficient air conditioning separate tub weak wifi worn furniture slow elevator
i found my room, the landmark king room, very clean upon arrival. the air conditioning worked efficiently, maintaining a comfortable temperature (it's important in that climate!). the bathroom had a separate tub and shower, which i always appreciate. i also liked the complimentary bottled water provided daily.
the wifi signal was quite weak in certain areas of the hotel. i experienced slow loading times. also, i noticed some wear and tear on the furniture in the lobby. the elevator seemed a bit slow at times.

beautiful building well-kept grounds luxurious room entrance staff absence uncovered food minimal welcome gifts
i stayed here and the buildings are beautiful. the grounds are well maintained. the rooms are luxurious, and it has everything you need.
the staff are not at the entrance when i arrived. the food was delivered to the room without a cover and that bothers me. personalized welcome gifts are just two bottle of drinking water.

an amazing hotel experience
heart shape delicious cake fruit platter elephant bar
The room had roses in a heart shape, because it was our wedding anniversary. we also received a delicious cake in the room upon arrival. It was a lovely surprise. when we had dinner, the kitchen treated us to a fruit platter with a candle. the elephant bar had many choices.
i wished the gym was open 24 hours instead of closing at 10 pm. this made it difficult to fit in a workout with our schedule. it's a very minor inconvenience though, considering how wonderful everything else was.

The location was excellent. The elephant bar was very excellent (I loved the decor). The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was not a buffet. I had to order from a menu, and the food tasted bland. This reminded me of a cost-cutting measure and it was disappointing.

relaxing pool good atmosphere friendly service attentive staff
I found the historic building and pool area relaxing after exploring. the elephant bar had a nice atmosphere. I enjoyed the happy hour and interesting cocktails. the breakfast offered good choices. i appreciated the kind, relaxed, and friendly service. i felt the staff catered to my needs.
the pipe system seemed problematic. when someone flushed the toilet, it was quite noisy.

Le phnom restaurant had nice staff. I found the carol concert over xmas a nice touch. the hotel offered a good all day dining menu. the breakfast options were delicious and of great quality though the service was a bit slow.

The hotel's location offered easy access to key sites! tuk-tuks were readily available just outside the hotel. This made getting around simple. the surrounding area had a vibrant atmosphere though the street noise was occasionally noticeable.
